On Saturday April 12th, EMWPA will be holding our fifth educational outreach program of the 2025 wildfire season. The program will have as the headliner the organizer/leader of the amateur radio emergency communications program in the East Mountains. Another plus, a representive from the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office will talk about what the Sheriff's office will be doing in an emergency. And finally, we will also go over the "READY SET GO" pamphlet in detail so you will become acquainted with the incredible amount of information in this document. If you do not think you will be able to attend in person, but can connect via Zoom, make sure you let us know in your RSVP. One thing to know: because we are at the front end of our wildfire season, we may not be able to have a Zoom program. The Zoom person may be on a wildfire and therefore not available for this session.
