Burglary in Paa-Ko

A burglary has been reported in Paa-Ko.  It happened at 9 Kiva Loop.  The resident has been gone for the winter and her son has been checking on on the house.  On Thursday, March 27th, her son went by her house and discovered that the home had been burglarized.  The door had been forced open and apparently some computers, phone etc had been stolen.

BCSO was called and there is a police report with the BCSO.

If anyone saw anything on or before March 27th, please report it to BCSO at 505-798-7000.  Even the smallest piece of information might be important.

Always stay vigilant and aware - not only for yourself but also for neighbors and our community.

Note from East Mountain Wildfire Preparedness Association

From EMWPA:

The National Weather Service published a weather briefing this past Thursday that all of us need to be aware of and prepared for. This next week is going to be a turbulent set of days, maybe not every day, but certainly this could be a time we all need to be aquainted with and ready for. The link to this weather briefing is here: https://emifpa.org/emifpawp/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/SWB_WindSigFireWxPattern_2026March26.pdf

We highly recommend that you take the time to read this weather briefing. As everyone is aware, we are moving into the most dangerous few months for wildfire risk for our EM region.
