Because Raindance and the cul-de-sacs of north Paa-Ko Drive are “curbed”, the county contracted with an outside road contractor (IPR Ltd.) to crack-fill and resurface those street sections. Crack-filling was completed last fall and the road resurfacing should commence between April 28th and May 5th . Except for our gated areas, all Paa-Ko roads have been deeded to Bernalillo County. BERNCO has the responsibility to maintain our roads.

Your HOA Board has had extensive discussions with Eric Olivas, our county commissioner, about additional funding to repair another Paa-Ko road portion, but we have been denied for the present. In seeking alternative directed funding from Santa Fe, we have also had very preliminary discussions with our State Representative, Stefani Lorde, and our State Senator, Ant Thornton. Those conversations will continue and we will keep you informed.
