PAA-KO POOL OPENING
Paa-Ko’s community pool has passed BERNCO inspection and will officially open on Saturday, May 2nd. The Amenities team earlier sent out multiple notices (4X) suggesting pool members check Amenities keycards prior to opening day. You were notified we upgraded our facility’s security system and discovered some older cards may no longer work. If your card will not allow access to the pool, please email our on-line help account at PaakoAmenities@GMail.com with your name, contact information, and Amenities card #. This may take a day to resolve.
Your pool-support team has spent a lot of pre-season time preparing our pool for your enjoyment. We do not contract out for pool staffing or the tedious daily maintenance. Our pool is maintained totally by committed Paa-Ko residents with valued contractor backup.
Hours of Pool Operation (7-days a week):
- 6AM – 10AM adult lap swimming only – no children, even if lanes are available
- 10AM – 8PM open swim Poolside locker room doors lock at 8PM.
Please assist your mostly volunteer pool staff by following our guidelines:
- The pool is for use by Amenities members and their accompanied guests. Please do not loan out cards to friends or non-Amenities residents. Follow our guest policy.
- Do NOT bring large flotation devices to the pool. No soft footballs or tennis balls are allowed due to possibility of eye damage.
- Always place a towel on lounge chairs to prevent lotion staining.
- Please replace moved furniture and, upon leaving, always close umbrellas to prevent spring wind damage.
- Please handle all diaper changing in the locker room and take the diaper home for disposal. Locker rooms are cleaned only twice a week.

- .While we do allow snacks, please do not bring popcorn, shelled peanuts, or other easily dropped food into the pool area. Children should not walk around the deck while snacking.
- NO sitting or standing on lane ropes. There is a substantial repair cost involved to reinstall the attachment rings.
- Finally – things are occasionally dropped or forgotten by pool visitors. These items are picked up by staff and placed in a box in our storeroom. Periodically we donate toys, goggles, and clothing items to the Big Brother Big Sister program. If you believe you are missing something please come by the pool early in the morning to check our collection, or call Jim Kelley (505/239-8552) to gain access to the bin.
