Bears

Spring time will once again bring the bears to our area looking for food.  Because of the severe lack of moisture we have had over the winter - and the forecast not looking very hopeful for any -- water has dried up and vegetation growth is limited.  Bears - and other wildlife - will be fervently looking for food and drink.

Please remember  -- don't leave an open invitation around your house to attract them.  Keep pet food inside, clean your grill after each use, take your bird feeders each night, and keep your garbage can inside the garage until trash day, or, if that is not possible, get a bear-proof can. -- bungee cords and rocks on the lid do not deter a very hungry animal.
