Pet Calendar Girl
Resident Paa-Ko dog, Bunker, was the TOP vote-getter in the recent Albuquerque Journal Pet Calendar Contest. The calendar was published in today's Journal. She is the calendar cover girl. Bunker has lived in Paa-Ko for ten years.
She was born on April Fool's Day in 2009 and epitomizes how to take pure pleasure from every second of life. She lies in the winter snow for hours, and basks in the indolent summer sun. She loves to pose for pictures, snuggle on laps, and share toys with other dogs. Strangers don't exist to her and she knows how to meet all dogs in a way that makes them love her. She selects dog books from the shelf and then "reads" them on the couch. Visitors to the house will get treated to a "Bunker" conversation as she sits upright in the chair, with her paws crossed -- just like one of the girls. She always calls "shotgun" for car rides, and "perfect behavior" only appears when a treat is offered. Her personality and infectious smile bring joy and love to all who enter her world.
And, by the way, in full disclosure -- Bunker is my dog. :)
Her calendar photos are attached. Go to READ MORE and then to DOCUMENTS.
