Paa-Ko Board Member Resigning

FROM THE PAA-KO HOA BOARD

It is with sadness that the Board wishes to announce Tim Doyle's resignation from the HOA Board of Directors. Tim has dutifully served this community as Vice President of the Paa-Ko Communities HOA Board for six years. His contributions have been numerous and deeply thoughtful, always considering what is best for the Members of this community. He will be sorely missed. Tim has devoted countless hours to this community, serving on LEAG, Amenities, and acting as our liaison to Legal support and HOAMCO. This list does not do justice to Tim's lifetime contributions to this community.

We extend our heartfelt thoughts and warm appreciation to Tim as he takes the next steps in his life - hopefully more peaceful.
I also wish to announce that Steve Ingram has graciously stepped forward to serve as Tim's replacement. Steve and Mary are new to the neighborhood, and Steve brings a wealth of experience to help your HOA prosper. Per our covenants, Steve will serve until Tim's commission expires at the upcoming 2025 Annual Meeting, 08 October. We welcome Steve to the Board and thank him in advance as we prepare for the Annual Meeting and its accompanying 2026 budget.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

V/R,
Christian McMahon
President, Paa-Ko Communities HOA

Paa-Ko Communities Sewer Association July Update

Paa-Ko Communities Sewer Association July Update

We have now been working with MolzenCorbin for 7 months on the PED for our system to define the required upgrades required over the next decade. This is now scheduled to be completed by September 1st. This was funded at $111,000 and will not require further funding despite the schedule delay.

As reported last month one of the essential pumps in the collection system has failed and must be replaced as soon as possible. The State has funded the $50,000 required with a $25,000 Grant and $25,000 20-year loan at 1% interest. The replacement pump has been received, and the repair will be completed in a few weeks.

A letter sent to the PAA-KO BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

I hope this message finds you well.  My name is April Tegeda, and I’m a Supervisor with Bernalillo County Emergency Communications.  I’m reaching out to share that we are organizing a community food drive, and would greatly appreciate participation from your neighborhood if possible.
Our goal is to support local families in need by collecting non-perishable food items that will be donated to a local food bank which will donate the items to children in need.  We believe that with the support of your neighborhood, we can make a meaningful impact.
Here are the details:
Food Drive Dates: July 17-August 17
Drop-off Location: 48 Public School Rd - BCSO Substation
Requested Items: Canned and boxed food items, non-perishable snacks, cereals and grains and baby food and formula
Attached is a flyer with all the details.
