Campbell Ranch Meeting

Just a reminder: This is a big week for Paa Ko property owners opposing Campbell Ranch.

Plan to attend the PUBLIC HEARING for the MINOR SUBDIVISION to develop Campbell Ranch onThursday November 21, at 6 pm, at the
 Edgewood Town Hall located at 171 NM-344.

The note sent out earlier today has all the info you need to know.

Pie Delivery Time

It's PIE delivery time for those of you who attended the 3rd annual Green Chile Cookoff & Roast!

We will be delivering pumpkin pies on Wed 11/20 in the morning. In exchange for pie, we ask that you donate non-perishables for the East Mountain Food Bank--think Thanksgiving items such as bags of potatoes, boxes of stuffing mix, canned pumpkin, canned condensed milk, etc.  If you prefer to do a monetary donation, make the check out to East Mountain Food Bank. For those of you who want to participate but didn't sign up at the Chile Roast, you're welcome to! Just call or text Ginni DiRaddo at (505) 610-3269 to let me know before Tues 11/19.

Garbage

As reported by a resident, there have been  some minor issues with putting an unsecured garbage bin out on a windy day.  Our winds can be quite strong at times -- strong enough to open the lid of the bin and blow trash out into the road and neighboring yards.

Securing lid with bungee cords or, at least, putting a rock on the lid can help with this issue.  It can also help to keep wild animals out of the trash.

Just for fun, I have attached a photo of a bear cub,  taken at our place in Bozeman, trying to figure out how to get into a trash bin (empty by the way). It's so darn cute, I had to share.
